WE ALL BELONG HERE.

WE SHOULD ALL MATTER HERE.

Newport is more than a place; it’s home. It’s a community nurturing generations of families.

It has shaped our neighborhoods and united individuals from diverse backgrounds, each contributing unique experiences, perspectives, and aspirations for the future.

I BELIEVE OUR CITY IS  STRONGEST WHEN EVERYBODY IS INCLUDED.

That means listening to the voices we hear often and making room for the voices we don't.

EVERY VOICE MATTERS

It means recognizing that people who have lived here for generations, the families raising children here, our young people, our seniors, our small businesses, our un-housed neighbors, and those who are too often overlooked all have something important to contribute

THE WORK OF OUR CITY BELONGS TO US.

LISTENING. ADVOCATING. SHOWING UP.

I have advocated for Ward 1 to ensure community voices are heard, concerns addressed, and tough conversations handled with compassion.

From supporting youth and families to promoting responsible development, community benefits, harm reduction, and dignity for all, our focus is clear:

How do we create a more inclusive Newport where everyone feels seen, heard, respected, and valued?

MAKING ROOM AT THE TABLE

There won’t always be agreement. There shouldn’t be.

But we can listen to one another.

We can make room for different experiences.

We can challenge assumptions.

We can make decisions with the understanding that every policy affects real people and real lives.

There is still work to do.

I am grateful for your trust in me and I hope to keep this going by earning your vote again.

Let’s keep showing up for one another.
Let’s keep listening.
Let’s keep making room at the table.
And let’s keep building a Newport where all of us matter.
